Yes! The word for all this is "neoliberalism" or "neoliberal capitalism"

Check out the work of Henry Giroux and Yanis Varoufalkis -- they're really good at explaining this shift and how it manifests in geopolitics today.

I write quite a bit about neoliberalism too. Essentially trying to translate the dense academia of these scholars into something more engaging for a mass audience. It's such a sneaky ideology --- people need to know the name if we're to effectively fight against it
