This influenced government and created endless corruption and privatization. It even lowered corporate taxes from 91% down to as low as 22%. It also shifted profits away from reinvestment and developed huge trust funds and offshore holdings.
Yes! The word for all this is "neoliberalism" or "neoliberal capitalism"

I write quite a bit about neoliberalism too. Essentially trying to translate the dense academia of these scholars into something more engaging for a mass audience. It's such a sneaky ideology --- people need to know the name if we're to effectively fight against it
