Want to Become Enlightened?
Here’s how, in just 4 simple steps.
Buddhism is one of those things that’s simple in principle, but complicated as you try to understand it deeply.
The simple part is this: Buddha’s path to enlightenment consists of just 4 steps, called “The Four Noble Truths.”
Sound easy?
Well, there’s also the Three Dharma Seals, the Four Nutriments, the Five Powers, the Six Paramitas, the Seven Factors of Awakening, and the Noble Eightfold Path.
And those are just some of the key Buddhist teachings with a number and a name.
That’s the complicated part.
I will explain these teachings over the weeks to come, as clearly as I can. Hopefully, in a way that makes sense — providing a clear path through the maze of Buddhist knowledge.
The Four Noble Truths is the best place to start, and the most important place to come back to as you navigate the rabbit hole of Buddhism.
Buddhism is all about recognition, understanding, and practice.
We start by recognizing the first truth, and by the time we practice the fourth truth we have become enlightened.
It won’t happen overnight. It’s a process. A lifestyle.
