This reads like a pre-approved script the Democratic party gave CNN to broadcast as a spoonful of sugar for the Biden 2024 campaign.
The Democrats have enough people to pass legislative change -- they accomplished the majority they campaigned so hard for in 2020 thanks to voters like John (and myself) who held our noses and voted. Still, with several opportunities to pass progressive climate change, infrastructure, and minimum wage bills, Biden has buckled under pressure from his party subordinates. The problem isn't that they "simply don't have enough people in office to really get things done" -- they have the people and they still aren't getting it done. We've seen zero substantial change and clear signs that Biden will continue to "compromise" on reform bills in the future. As much as they'd love for you to believe it's a lack of numbers, the Democrats are professionals at getting nothing done. We're seeing in broad daylight how the financial ties of Manchin and Sinema are affecting their political decision-making. It's self-inflicted inaction, and I agree with John that they don't deserve "not-Trump" voters anymore. They need a wake up call that constituents want them to actually grow a backbone
