Things are looking OK!
Waking up the morning of 11–4–2020, the election is still undetermined. But it’s leaning much more strongly towards Biden than I expected! Sure, Trump may have declared victory and told everyone to stop counting the ballots. What any normal democratic leader would do during an election. But with the electoral college giving Biden a clean victory, it might take away any argument that Trump could possibly toss to the Supreme Court.
Most surprising this morning was waking up to see both Wisconsin and Michigan shift blue. These two plus Nevada give Biden 270 electoral votes exactly. Enough to win.
As of 7:30AM PST, Biden is leading with 238 electoral college votes, compared to Trump’s 213.
The popular vote is comfortably in Biden’s favor as well, with a 2.5M advantage there.
Meanwhile — Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina still hang on the line for Trump. Those would bring him to just 264 electoral votes.
Without one of the two — either WI or MI — it looks like Trump might just lose after all.
