Ev, I'm curious if you see this shift to a "follows-based" approach versus a "topics-based" approach as potentially shutting the door on new writers joining Medium.

Distributing articles through the communities that follow certain topics allows new writers to get some exposure. For people without a pre-existing audience, this transition will make it much more difficult to attract new viewers. How will curation be managed moving so that all the "Trending on Medium" articles don't come from the largest publications, by default?
