Enemies Can Help You
In some ways, better than your friends.
Growth comes from hardship. It’s easy to get along with people who agree with you. But it’s frustrating when people disagree or get in your way.
Use this frustration as an opportunity to grow.
How?
Build patience. Patience is a virtue.
Patience will turn you into the calm, smooth-talking, unfazed hero that’s always a step ahead. Be as calculated as James Bond hunting clever mercenaries. As suave as Tony Stark making a spectacle at his Senate hearing. Or as cool as George Clooney in any of his movies.
You may not end up getting beers with your bitter enemies. But the Dalai Lama reminds us that this practice can help us see them as spiritual guides.
